Quick intro... Just acquired an X10.  Long term Leica user (LTM, R, M) and Ricoh.  Newbie here, but far from a newbie in general ;0) keen to see how this community develops.

I received an S2950 as a Christmas and retirement gift.  I have been away from photography for 15+ years, but my daughter thought I needed to renew my hobby as a retireent activity.I have enjoyed the camera to date and have entered some photos in the members' gallery.  However, I have been unable to upload any new images for approximately 3-4 weeks.  Any assistance on what I am ding wrong would be appreciated.

Hi AllI have had Fuji cameras for a very very long time. I started with a 602 Zoom, progressed to an S100FS (brilliant camera). Recently i decided to upgrade again to the HS30EXR (what a camera). Even though I registered with myfinepix many years ago, I only recently re-discovered that it existed. It was one of those things that I did when I bought my S100FS, but never got round to looking on it. When I came to register my new camera, I thought I ought to give it a try, so here I am.

Hello AllJust received my new HS30 EXR, apart from simple point and click camera's this is my intro to what I would describe as proper photography.I have read through the manual and I must admit some of the terminology might has well been written in hieroglyphics for what they meant to me, through this forum I hope that I may learn some of the finer details of of my "new hobby" and hopefully achieve results half as good as as those I have viewed in the galleries. Look forward to discussing topics with you in the near future.

Hi allIm a 32 year old mother to my 2 adorable children, I have enjoyed taking photographs for many years now, for as long back as I can remember, how ever recently after having my little girl and seeing the extortionate prices some companies charge for taking photos of your little ones I decided to take photography a bit more seriously myself to see how far I could take it.so far I have taken quite a few of my children that I'm fairly pleased with however I would love some feedback from other photographers out there who may be able to help me improve.

I have been using the hs20 since Xmas of 2011, I really do like the camera a lot. I have learned a lot of  things with the camera over the past 5 months, things that are not even mentioned in the user guide. I have had a Fujifilm s1000fd for a few years and really enjoy using it as well. Most of the things i have learned fairly recently work on most Fujifilm cameras that have the same or similar settings. If you would like to contact me for info feel free to do so.

Hello to fellow Finepix users.I have had my fujifilm finepix 8100fd for a couple of years. But just used to switch it on and take photo's. never used any of the other settings apart from auto as I was scared incase I took bad photo's.Over the last few months I have been buying Photography for beginners magazine and Practical Photography magazine.I have been learning how to take great photo's and also how to be creative with the images I take.

Hi All Just bought myself a X100 after wanting one since it's release. I look after the Fuji section at a large camera retail outlet here in the UK which is kinda good. I had the X10 but sold it as the thing is terrible at exposure which is part of the 'orb problem'. I could have gotten the sensor changed but found i could afford the X100 so i went for that instead. I'm very please with it. It does have it's 'issues' but generally is an amazing camera. Images are just superb and it's a joy to use plus it looks awesome! So far I'm very very happy.

Hi,thought I'd introduce myself, thought I have been an occasional visiter to the site for some time without registering.I have been a fan of Fuji cameras for some time, having just pought my 5th, an HS10. I still own at the moment an s5000 and an s5500, but the s5500 is going, I prefer the older model for some reason, despite the newer one's improvements.I also own a Canon EOS 350D with 35-80 and 80-200 lenses.Even though it's now a very old model, I love the s5000 & will have to upload some pics I've taken with it.

I have had my Fuji XP20 since Dec 2011 love it.  But it will freeze when i turn it on - it also has a red 1/4 screen like it is stuck.  If I turn it off and smack to front area then turn it back on it seems to work for awhile.  it is annoying !

Hi, everyone! New member, new camera! I just bought a Fuji FinePix XP150 four hours ago. Found this site when I registered. I am a nature lover, living in paradise on Vancouver Island, Canada. I bought the pocket sized Fine Pix because my DSLR came with a wide angle lens I rarely use and a telephoto lens I seldom take off, but no mid range lens for people shots, macros and landscapes. So I figured it would be cheaper to get a good pocket camera than to buy another lens. Also lighter and easier to pack around.
