Uwe - I think that it is interesting, but Art? No. My own thoughts are that Art has to have some desire to communicate. I believe that Photography can be Art, and quite a lot is. But thanks for the link, it was actually being discussed this morning on the BBC. The presenters I think thought that someone was taking the Mick!

Hi Angie,

that's a bit of my problem. When i see something on our BBC cable offshoot here i do not know if this is common knowledge in the UK Smile

One very British idea is the Turing test. Could you decide which one of the pictures shown was drawn by an animal or a human? Could you find out which one was meant as a serious contribution to the discussion or just as a joke?

I would say the one by the elephant - I am guessing that wasn't done by an elephant.

The works by the Orang Utan were attractive - it had nice textures and shading etc and I could probably live with it for a while, but I don't think I would 'learn' anything from it, and I don't think I would begin to see 'more' in it.
